Reply to Tensions of Two Worldviews

"How do you include nations in the global economy, when forces with communities are willing to utilize violence to defeat such efforts?" To this question about the current "War on Terror" there is no easy answer unless you take the extreme of each side, either you nuke these people wipe them out problem solved you don't have to deal with them anymore, or you could pull all the soldiers back, give up and come back and then not only do we look like cowards but then the terrorist will bring this war to American soil, also by pulling out it would make the deaths of all the soldiers that have passed away be in vain, because the job they where trying to accomplish was never completed.

So then what is the solution to this problem? Well I am no military expert or great philosopher, so I will not even pretend to try to say that I know the answer however I do have some suggestions. First of all lets look at this idea from an example, for instance think of if you where in a discussion with some one for instance if you where and evolutionist and I was a creationist where would we start to try to disprove each others theories, the answer is at the foundation of each theory which in this case is origins. So I believe the answer to this problem would lay in the foundations of the communities, a.k.a. Eastern thought versus Western thought.Because Islam was not accepted as Western thought until the mid 20th century, so most extremist hold on to their roots and backgrounds, and despise Western thought. So I do not think this battle can be won with just weapons, this is a war between cultures and philosophies too, and i think the only hope to stop these jihadist would be for the Islamic community to step up and condemn these extremist and their violence, because most Islamic people do not agree with their teachings, so if I where able to deal with this problem i would encourage the Islamic community to speak out against the jihadist, and speak out against those who support them.
