Will Gore end up running in the 2008 elections?

It has been rumored that former Vice President Al Gore would join the 2008 election race, however, Gore has released statements saying he will not run for the upcoming election. In spite of Gore saying he will not run for the Presidency, many of his supporters are urging him to run, and even his policy advisor and other advisers met Thursday to talk about a potential Gore campaign. Clearly Gore's supporters are trying to push him into the 2008 elections, without his consent. Gore's supporters did however mention that Gore who is in London at the moment did not have anything to do with the meeting on Thursday about the potential campaign and that as of right now, he is not planning to run. In fact Gore's spokeswoman Kalee Kreider released a statement saying that the only thing that Gore is working and concentrating on right now is global warming, in fact Al Gore's work on global warming has earned him a Nobel nomination, so currently it seems that the former Vice President has no interest in running in the up coming elections. Personally I think it is a good idea that Al Gore is not running in the election, because he already had a chance and now there needs to be a new face in the Democratic party, personally I believe it would be political suicide for the Democratic party to run a same canidate who has already tried to become President, then again it depends on who the Republicans run.

I think he will end up in the race. I tend to agree that running him again is a mistake. If the Democratic field gets any bigger, they stand a very good chance of wearing each other out well before they have to face off against a GOP challenger.
